Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how SGYieldHub ("we", "us") handles information when you visit sgyieldhub.com. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible while keeping the site useful.

What we collect

SGYieldHub is a static informational site. We do not require registration, do not ask for your name or email to view any content, and do not collect financial or identity information.

We may collect the following when you visit:

• Technical logs from our hosting provider (Cloudflare) — IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs. Used for abuse prevention, performance monitoring, and security. Retained by Cloudflare according to their policy.
• Anonymous analytics — aggregate page views, referrers, and country-level geographic data via a privacy-respecting analytics provider. No personal identifiers are collected. Analytics is only enabled if you accept cookies via the consent banner.
• Local storage preferences — if you interact with the cookie consent banner, your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Cookies

By default the site sets no cookies. If you accept cookies via the consent banner:

• Analytics cookies — used to count visitors and understand which pages are useful. Pseudonymous only.
• Advertising cookies (future) — if we enable Google AdSense, advertising cookies may be set by Google. These can personalize ads or measure ad performance. You can decline these via the consent banner. See Google's advertising policy.

You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not break the site — all content remains accessible without cookies.

Third-party services

The site uses these third parties:

• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN. Sees your IP and request metadata. Privacy policy.
• Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) — we fetch SSB and T-bill data from MAS's public API server-side. You do not connect to MAS directly when browsing our site; only our ingest script does. See MAS's privacy statement.
• Google AdSense (future, opt-in) — if enabled, Google may set cookies to serve and measure ads. You control this via the consent banner.

Your rights (PDPA / GDPR)

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, if applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access any personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Withdraw consent for processing at any time
• Request deletion of your personal data

Since we collect no direct personal data (no accounts, no forms that ask for identity), these rights are largely automatic — simply clear your cookies and stop visiting. For Cloudflare logs, Cloudflare handles data subject requests per their policy linked above.

Data retention

We retain no personal data ourselves. Cloudflare retains logs per their policy (typically 7-30 days for operational logs). Analytics data, if enabled, is retained by the analytics provider according to their policy.

Children

SGYieldHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted in a banner on the home page for at least 30 days.
